The Challenge
Birchbury was founded in 2019 and only offered three different styles on their website. Although they only sell three styles, the styles fit different to each other, causing high returns. To resole ve this, they offered printable sheets for each size, which requires a lot of effort from customers. They also found that for customers transitioning to barefoot for the first time, sizing can be confusing causing them to drop off the website completely without completing a purchase.
The Solution
StrutFit launched with Birchbury using their standard sizing data on their website. After 2 months of usage, returns were analysed and it was found that Carnforth fit completely different to the other two styles. Sizing was updated for Carnforth to enhance the StrutFit experience. Along with this, a fit tip added to and customers on the fly still had adequate sizing information to size themselves more accurately even when not using the tool
