The Challenge
Pikolinos was seeing a meaningful share of returns tied to sizing uncertainty across styles. They did not have a reliable way of establishing if a product was fitting bigger or smaller and also providing that information back to their customers. As a leading footwear brand in Spain, they wanted to protect their market position by improving the online sizing experience - reducing size related returns and giving shoppers more confidence at checkout.
The Solution
StrutFit launched with Pikolinos’ standard size guide to capture accurate sizing and purchase data. Next, we measured size guide data accuracy by comparing returns to the original size recommendations to see where guidance aligned or missed. Then, classify each style (true-to-size, size-up, or size-down) based on the evidence. We rolled the learnings back into the experience by updating sizing data and also added clear fit tips to product pages to influence all customers (e.g.,this product fits small, buy one size larger than your usual size).
